Be Still & Breathe Life....
Kylie Gorbsky, LPCA
I hold a firm belief and devotion for nurturing young hearts and minds through compassionate therapy techniques tailored to each child's unique needs. I have a passion in helping children navigate life's challenges and providing them with a safe and supportive environment to explore their big emotions and develop the crucial coping skills required for them to grow up to be productive and happy adults. I have the skills to help children understand and manage their worry, to lift the cloud of sadness, to achieve emotional balance, and to foster resilience and a brighter outlook.
My approach blends evidence-based therapies including Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). So why these modalities? Play Therapy allows children to communicate their feelings naturally through play, fostering healing and growth. CBT equips them with practical tools to challenge negative thoughts and behaviors, promoting positive change. DBT enhances emotional regulation skills, empowering children to navigate intense emotions with confidence.
My Promise: I am committed to creating a warm, non-judgmental space where children feel heard, valued, and supported on their journey towards emotional well-being. Every child's path is unique, and together, we will uncover their strengths and build resilience for a brighter tomorrow.
