Life can be tough, we are here to help.

EMDR and trauma-focused therapy provide a safe, supportive space to process difficult or overwhelming experiences and understand how they may continue to affect your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and everyday life. Trauma can impact us long after an experience has happened, sometimes leaving us feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or constantly on edge. With the guidance of a compassionate clinician, therapy can help you work through these experiences at a pace that feels safe and manageable.

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is one evidence-based approach that can help reduce the emotional intensity associated with distressing memories and experiences. Trauma-focused therapy may also incorporate other approaches and coping strategies based on your individual needs and goals.

You don’t have to keep reliving the past to move forward.

Navigating EMDR & Trauma focused therapy

Your therapy experience is personalized to you. Sessions are available in person or online, allowing you to choose the setting where you feel most comfortable. Your clinician will first focus on creating safety, trust, and healthy coping skills before beginning trauma processing. Depending on your needs, therapy may include EMDR, emotional regulation strategies, exploring patterns and beliefs, processing difficult memories, and developing healthier ways to respond to triggers.

You remain in control throughout the process, and your clinician will work with you at a pace that feels manageable. The goal isn't to erase what happened, but to help you process it so it no longer has the same power over your present.
