Denise Walker, LPCA

I work with individuals who feel disconnected from themselves and their needs, often struggling with people-pleasing, perfectionism, low self-esteem, and challenging relationships. Many of my clients feel consumed by anxiety, depression, insecurities, and constant pressure to meet others' expectations. Together, we’ll explore the roots of these patterns, helping you reconnect with your authentic self, set healthy boundaries, gain clarity about who you are, and redefine your relationships—with yourself, others, and things like food, body image, emotions, and mental health.

My approach to therapy is rooted in holistic wellness, focusing on the connection between mind, body, and spirit to help you find balance and live a more fulfilling life. Coming from a Latino background, I deeply understand the complexities of the culture and am committed to providing a safe, welcoming space for exploring and healing from generational influences and acculturation challenges. With a person-centered and trauma-informed approach, I strive to help you build resilience and confidence. It would be my privilege to help you feel seen and heard as you work toward becoming your best self!

For my own self-care, you can find me re-watching my favorite comfort shows/movies, listening to oddly specific Spotify playlists, crafting/baking, at the beach, practicing yoga or on mental health walks, and spending time with my dog (Ramen) and loved ones.
