Emily Ritchie, LPCA
I am a licensed professional counselor associate (LPCA). I have a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. My approach to counseling is an integrative one that incorporates cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, narrative therapy and solution focused therapy. I am currently pursuing my certification in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Personality Disorders.
It is my goal to provide an empathic and nonjudgmental environment for you to come as you are and share whatever is on your mind. My office is a safe space for you. I am here to come alongside you in your journey and give you tools that can help you along the way. I can help you work through things that have happened in your life that you can’t seem to move past, learn more effective cope strategies, establish healthy boundaries, develop a better understanding of yourself and why you do the things you do, and discover how to manage your emotions in a way that is helpful to you. I am passionate about working with individuals who have experienced trauma and those struggling with anxiety, depression, challenges relating to life transitions and difficulties in relationships.
I am providing virtual only appointments at this time.
