Be Still & Breathe Life....
Landon Metts, Intern
Sometimes life takes a turn that we didn’t expect, and we don’t know how to work through it. The burden of stress, depression, and trauma can hold us back from happiness that we once knew and hope to regain. I have journeyed through situations like this, and I am here to help you find peace and happiness on your journey.
We are all unique and intrinsically made. Each nuance of our personalities weaves the fabric of our lives. The individuality of who we are, however, can feel isolated and distinct from others when we do not have the support, encouragement, and tools to work through the challenging times that we go through. My approach is collaborative, working on solutions towards wellness by focusing on how our thoughts affect behaviors and reactions to circumstances. Feeling better and living better can begin with understanding. Even beginning the search for counseling is a huge step towards healing and an investment into your future.
I am a graduate student finishing my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through Liberty University. I developed a career in business management over the last two decades and decided to pursue becoming a counselor after seeing the benefit of counseling when facing and seeing loved ones face trauma, loss, and feelings of hopelessness. My hope is to provide the care and support that can improve the wellness and happiness for those seeking a solution. I look forward to connecting with you and starting a journey of healing together.
